Terms of Service

The agreement between you and GoMeet1v1. Written to be read — if a clause here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it rather than point at it.

Last updated: August 2026

  1. Accepting these terms

By using GoMeet1v1 you agree to these terms and to the Community Guidelines, which form part of them. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

GoMeet1v1 is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other service using a similar name.

  2. Who may use GoMeet1v1

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract where you live. You may not use the service if a previous account of yours was removed for breaking these terms.

You are responsible for everything that happens through your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.

  3. How the service works

GoMeet1v1 connects two people in a live one-on-one video call. The people available at any moment change constantly, and we do not promise that any particular person, language, or country will be available when you open the site.

You need a working camera, microphone, and internet connection. Call quality depends partly on your connection and device, which we do not control.

  4. Coins, payments and refunds

Opening the site and being connected costs nothing. Longer conversations and some features are metered in coins, which you buy in advance. The price is shown before you buy, and the app tells you on screen before coins are used.

Coins are a licence to use features on GoMeet1v1. They have no value outside the platform, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable.

Coins already spent are not refundable, except where the law where you live says otherwise. If you were charged in error, contact us and we will look at it.

Where a subscription or auto-renewing product is offered, the renewal terms are shown at purchase and you can cancel future renewals from your account settings.

  5. How you must behave

The Community Guidelines set out the rules in full. In short: consent first, nothing illegal, no recording or resharing another person, no impersonation, no advertising or recruiting, and no abuse.

You keep the rights to what you show on camera. You give us only the permission needed to transmit it to the person on the other side of the call and to review it when a conversation is reported.

  6. Reports, suspension and removal

We may limit, suspend, or end an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines. Illegal content ends an account immediately and may be reported to the authorities.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your account settings.

  7. What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not vouch for what another user says about themselves.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

  8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change matters, the date on this page changes and we tell you in the product where appropriate. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
